The Dazz Band achieved 20 Billboard R&B hits throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and released over a dozen popular albums. The Dazz Band formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1976 and started out as Kinsman Dazz, before changing their name in 1980 upon signing to the legendary Motown Records.
